Well, I got my new car...

As some of you may remember, I wanted a Gallardo or the ZR1 as my next car. Unfortunately, I am not getting either. Not the Gallardo because real estate is so crappy right now and my property is not moving. Not the ZR1 because it wont be out until fall, and I refuse to go all spring/summer w/o a car. So, it was between a new Viper and new Z06.

So....I ordered a new, Black, 08 Z06 last week. I also ordered Katech's cam package (cam, springs, retainers, headers, x-pipe, cats, intake) that I will have Vector install and tune. I will be picking up the mods next week and just waiting for the car to arrive. I can't wait to own a modded car, as this will be my first one ever.

I already had a Z06 before, and I really liked it (although, I would have liked the Gallardo much more, damn, lol). One thing I am looking forward to experience in the 08 Z06 vs. the previous one I had is the new TR 6060 trans, new steering column, and shorter shifting.

mod'ed lambo > mod'd z06... but money does suck right now.
 
If I would have gotten the Lambo, it would have been left completely stock. But, even a stock lambo is > a modded Z06, imo.

Oh well, hopefully next time..:)

Congrats on the new ride! I am looking fwd to video footage of the new ride. You don't need the lambo. It would be a target for everyone to try and beat. Plus, you would probably loose your license in that car. Try and cheer up it could be worse - You could have an 01 WS6 :)

Thanks guys. I REALLY wanted the Gallardo, but I am not going to go outside of my financial comfort zone to get one.

I got rid of the Yellow one because I wanted to save for a Gallardo and because I hated yellow.
 
if u got it for an incredible price id probably keep the order but when i get in the dealership tomorrow ill pm you the price and whats on it, it has nav and all the good stuff on it.:happy:

Ahh, I got a 1LZ, base options. I don't care for the nav and all that stuff that I wont be using in a sports car. But thanks for the heads up..:bigthumb:
