Well guess i'll start a project thread too...67 camaro progress!!!!

got the front fenders and everything lined up tonight. Going to box up all the parts and trailer it to my my new house so i can work on it weeknights after work.

List off the top of my head

change front pulley seal on blower
install harmonic balancer/pullies/belts
finish routing fuel lines
measure for correct pushrod length then lash
route heater hoses & install radiator hoses
install msd/coil/ign wires
make new rear brake line and weld on tabs for hoses
build exhuast & fab driveshaft loop/install driveshaft
rewire the whole car/charging/rear mount battery/fans/fuel pump/etc...67 engineering is pretty awful
install autometer gauges
install/make trans cooling lines & install dipstick/kickdown cable for trans
bolt up converter
install headers
build and plumb lines for power steering and hydraboost
install rest of front end
grind down the column detent for my transbrake so i can bang gears off the column
go through every pair of seats at work and ass test a pair that I want to install
get 15" torque thrust II's with m/t street radials
i'd like to get a cage in it maybe???

blah blah blah I can keep going but it never ends

the pinks all out race is june 25th and i've got a crapload done this month. I'd like to have it running and most of the bugs worked out by the end of may. There is a protouring event at gingerman in july also...that would be cool to attend

Can't wait to see the finished product!
hopefully i'll see ya around in it. When i get it done i'm going to use the piss out of it. I'm going to try and make every track rental...go to gingerman, and cruise woodward whenever i get a chance. I feel like when i get this thing done the viper is just going to sit in the garage and collect dust.

I just got into my garage. I gotta say...the car looks much happier sitting next to its silver friend! I just brought boxes of all the parts and spare stuff so i gotta organize it all this weekend and i can start working on it here. I'll get some pics soon, my garage looks pretty sweet now.

Damn, those look like some good size tubes. 1 7/8" w/ 3.5" collector? What's your exhaust setup going to be?

Project's looking great! What trans/stall speed you running in that thing? Care to share any engine specs?

yep 1 7/8 with 3.5 collectors

trans is a 2004r with a billet converter that ridings built...i think the stall is around 3kish or something

its a sbc with aluminum heads and a lot of boost.

Perks of owning a junkyard...you get to ass test all the seats.

out of a 05 volvo s40...they are niiiiice

Volvo seats are bar far the most comfortable seats from a car I have ridden in.
My S80 was sooooo cozy! Good choice

ugh another long weekend. Got the headers in, trans linkage done, rear brake line setup almost all finished. Checked the pushrod length, put the blower back together, routed the fuel lines, had my fuel pump rebuilt by barry grant and installed that, got the trans dipstick in and found out i had to order another kickdown cable since my th350 one wont work...plus did a bunch of other misc stuff.

Still have a lot more to do, but atleast its starting to look like a complete car

I'm thinking about picking these up for a 2nd set of wheel/tires for when I want to be able to hook better. I was going to do 15" TT2's with m/t street radials, but these are slightly used and about $500 cheaper.
