You guys crack me up. I never dealt with most of you guys on this thread when I was still at Belle Tire, so this isn't directed at you, but a large majority of Motown Muscle members were nothing more than a chore to deal with. They just wanted a price from me to turn around and have someone else beat it. Or they'd show up with their under/over sized garbage and want us to put it on something that's equally inappropriately load rated, and then expect it for something just above free. Then you had the guys who showed up in a car straight from the junk yard who would complain about smudge marks left by the technician. The list goes on, but all of these were more than common with Motown Muscle people.

So, I don't know the guy at USA Tire, and I don't know anyone at any Ford or Chrysler dealerships, but I wouldn't be surprised if he just got tired of it. Losing a bad customer and his five friends he talks to is probably going to have a positive impact on their business.

Its funny i hear of others owning businesses on here and being accused of being dicks but they get away with it....cause they do good work and they have good pricing

Usa tire aint hurting for business so losing the people that want stuff for free or their lease turnins or there 10 year old tires mounted oh well, or tires mounted at 5:30 on a friday

I would hate to work at a tire place

And of course any tire place will lean you toward what they have in stock....or get best pricing on

I always deal with Belletire but they were not able to get me a set of those Atturo tires. I called Dan at USA Tire and he got them for me the next day. They are a small local tire shop but I would go to them for everything if they were closer to me.
 
For what it's worth, $72 was full retail at Belle Tire. If you want cheaper, send your girlfriend/wife in early in the morning to drop the car off and have her say, "Anytime before you close is fine." If you want it free, show up 30 minutes before they open with two dozen donuts.

Yes. Drove vehicle there, they removed wheels, dismounted 4 old tires, mounted and balanced 4 newer tires that I brought with me, installed wheels, $70.



I didn't have to buy donuts, pizza, take them out to dinner, etc.........

$70 is $2 less than retail at Belle Tire. I wouldn't expect to have to blow many people to pay full price.

You guys always got me taken care of when i went threw you. I also didnt haggle bullshit ebay prices with you though. I knew you were helping, that was enough for me.

Everyone expects shit for free now a days. Nobodys entitled to anything. No tire place "owes" anybody anything. They are there to provide a service, as well as a product. You dont like it? Go some where else. Dont sit there and get pissy because somebody didnt match ebay/amazon or just give you shit for free. Support a local business and the people that offer that business.
 
Try owning a tire machine and balancer. How about a call to do a tire repair at 2am. I'm a friend, that means valve stems are free, right?

Not everyone, but alot of people just plain suck!

Exact reason I stopped fixing computers for people. Had a few people get mad at me and take their stuff to a computer store and apologize after they were charged many times what I charged them.

I have a tire machine and balancer, I literally use it to hook up people that hook me up and myself lol.
 
$15 to dismount old, then mount/balance new tire at Complete Auto Care, SW corner of 17 mile/mound.
