So at the end of my street on 14 mile road that water main broke. My wife called me freaking out as there was about 6 inches of water flowing down my street. When I got home I managed to catch a short video of it. Kinda crazy so I figured I would share. Anyone else having to boil their water?

I must live pretty close to you. The main break is about 1/2 mile directly north of me. I never lost complete water but had low water pressure. I even got yesterday afternoon/ today off of work (work at 12 and Hagerty) cuz I guess its not legal to not have working bathrooms or something.

The reporting is very on-point these news people are like.... the pipe has arrived...there it is!!!

I live 1 block south of 14 between drake and farmington. The morons where driving through our sub. I saw 4 cars get stranded.

Work at 12/Haggerty, we were off yesterday, but we have water flowing today. Can't drink it yet. Bosch next door is shut down though?

I like how they're reusing the "Water Crisis" graphics from the Flint story for a water main break on the FH/WB border. Yesterday channel 7 pretty much devoted the entire 6pm new broadcast to the "crisis". Must have been an otherwise slow news day.

I live south of 696 so we're on a different water grid and unaffected. If you guys need some water, I'm just south of 11.

My wife drove to Brighton Costco yesterday and bought 6 cases of water. She made it seem like it was the apocalypse.

its insane, there really is nothing worthy to report.
Therefore, when something like "The Water Apocalypse of 2017" occurs the news is head over heels.

People are calling me and text me, don't drink the water, dont shower, don't brush teeth, you can come here and fill up buckets, etc....shhheeeeeiiiiiittttttt.....
World is coming to an end.

Stephen Clark lives in Commerce so he's probably affected. Rexroth lives at Orchard Lake and 11 so he's in the clear.

Where do you work? I'm at NTN Bearing Corp. We were closed today but i guess we got water back at some point today. Don't know about Bosch though.

We're just west of Drake, S.off 14 mile. We have reduced pressure today. No big deal. We always have cases of water on hand. Worse inconvenience was turning off the ice maker.;)
