New shop has a 200 gallon tank of waste oil included, and I thought it might make a cheap way to trim heat in the winter. Anyone got a lead on a Waste Oil heater? Shop is 10K sq-ft, but even if I heat half the shop that would be cool.

fyi mrjones, I do have a waste oil heater (250000btu) and it heats 4500sq foot by itself-but on cold days it never shuts off. (building is well sealed and insulated)
My furnace burns about 2 gallons per hour. smaller waste oil heaters (150,000 btu) burn about 1.5 gallons per hour.
so the 200 gallons you have is good for about 5 days worth of heat.
used furnaces vary in price. 1500 for a smaller used one is a deal.
depending on installation-500-800 for the triple wall pipe for the exhaust.
if your looking for new, i researched them a lot. pm me your phone and I would be happy to share the infomation I have. plan on spending 5-7k
