Was all this really needed?

I actually agree with the cop on this one. The first kid you see I can't really comment on, but if you watch the video when he's arresting the one kid after he chased the other one a second kid comes up to him and trys to stop him. Sorry but you have no business interfering in a police arrest. That cop has no idea what that kid is capable of doing. If the kids would have just minded thier business and let the officer handle the situation he wouldn't have gotten arrested.

Punk ass kids thinking thier above the law...They deserved to get chocked for trying to interfere....

The cop acted on the same maturity level as the kids. That shouldn't fly. And how lame was it for him to claim the kids assaulted him and blah blah blah. Guy looked like the biggest fairy ever when he was firing off all the different 'offenses' that the kids had committed. He got his big bad ego hurt by a bunch of teenagers and he acted like the biggest douchbag I've ever seen in my life.

It's policing like that which leads to environments you read about in Orwell's 1984.

I'm not saying he was the maturest of the bunch, but buttom line is he was making an arrest. We have no right as citizens to try and step in and be a "hero". Cops deal with fucked up shit everyday of thier lives. Alot more than me and you do. So if someone steps in while he's making an arrest I don't blame him for doing what he did. If you don't like the fact that he's arresting your friend then file a complaint when he's done, but don't try and step in and threatin him.....

man this was some bullshit over some skateboarding....maybe the cop could have cufed them to a bench or something chewed their ass and let them go but to slam them on the ground. thats some bullshit especially grabbin that girl like that like shes about to do anything. i hate the police....
