wanting to Donating to DNR or other wildlife conservation

Hey a buddy of mine brother passed away yesterday while out turkey hunting. (Had a heart attack) they both loved to hunter. Instead of sending flowers I wanted to donate to DNR or some other local organization for the preservation of hunting. I am having no luck finding anything and so far, DNR has been no help. Anybody know of anything.

Donate / sponsor a "hunters safety course for youth".

For example, my Church is going to be putting one on soon.
It should be pretty easy to find one locally.
 
Ducks unlimited. I think there is a turkey organization similar to ducks. Sorry to hear about your friend
 
Thanks everyone, even after talking to DNR they really are not set up for gifts for someone else. So thanks to SVlightning99 i donated in his behalf to NWTF.
