Wanted Tahoe police pkg

What do you want one of those for? BTW, the CPI fuel injection is an absolute fire hazard on those trucks. The fuel pressure is 85-90 psi.
 
They aren't much different from regular Tahoe's. Besides, go with a 2000 and up. They've got LS1 style engines. :ls1:
 
Ther is a used lot on Groesbeck Hwy that sells used state policecars and trucks but not the junkyard at 11mile this is a ligit lot

He just said he wants a police one. I have no idea what his plans are he's a street racer from detroit.
 
Ask him why he does though. I'm curious why he'd want that. I know that some guys think you won't get pulled over if you drive an ex police vehicle, but I'm not convinced. If anything they get more attention, and that is never a good thing. Also, they get beat hard although usually well maintained.
 
I had a 99 MI x-Police Tahoe, tell your buddy not to get one unless it's like $2K. I had to fix the rearend and the trans. It was fun for a while but the truck had too many holes in it so it looked a bit ghetto.

it was from detroit. those holes are bullet holes. thats how we are

they also have a better charging system and brakes too I believe
 
They typically have the following items:

Upgraded alternator
Upgraded front/rear/ sway bars
Upgraded hoses (silicone instead of rubber)
Separate oil coolers
Stiffer body mounts
4 wheel disc brakes
3.08 rear
 
NE corner of Common Rd (12 1/2) and Groesbeck has tons of police cars and trucks on there lot.....I drive by them everyday....Very hard miles on those cars! I'll try to get a name for you.
