Softball bats are big bucks. Be careful buying used ones, they really do loose their pop after a while, especially when they get treated poorly (like in most beer leagues).

That's one of the issues i have with buying a big money bat. They could have as little as 40 hits in them, depending on temperature, and how they're treated. I just can't spend 300 on a disposable item like that....specially for a beer league. Most i spent was 80 on a nice Alum bat.
If you're playing in a league, make sure it's approved. When I was looking for a used one, all I came across were bats banned by ASA. Ended up biting the bullet and buying a new Miken.
Yep. That's the one.
my tps still goes yard.....remember the dead ball era?....i'm the guy who killed it........

Nice, all of our games are at 6:15. We have a couple double headers.Sweet. See you there. The company finally pulled together a team.
I kind of want a 36" but tell me a little more about the bat.34" 28 oz
It's amazing how light of a bat people have gone to over the years. We used 34oz., plus tape for years. Now, bat speed is everything. Years ago, when the DeMarini's came out, guys who could barely reach the track were clearing tree tops. The way the ball jumps off these new bats is ridiculous. Suddenly, everybody's a jacker. Time to go back to wood, that'll separate the players from the posers.
