Wanted...Open car hauler

18' open center with 3 foot beaver tail and you can open the doors on 90% of the cars out there. Brakes are there but not wired and I just rewired the brake lights this season with a nice weather proof wiring.
$1200.00 with ramps and 10,000 straps with axle straps.

Are the electric brakes easy to hook back up? Dont think it would be safe to tow a car around without trailer brakes?

I have never had an issue with this trailer behind my 99 Silverado, I guess it's all in how you drive. They are there but as long as I have had the trailer I never hooked them up. I have loaned it out to a few people on this board and they had no issues.

Yes and NO, They're put on there for a reason..

This is what happens when u DONT have them hooked up.

Thats a 1 ton truck so i know the braking system was up to par and i know that toyota wasnt to much of a load for it.. just simply put he didnt feel like taking the time to adapt the 6 pin to the 7 pin. Simple things can cause BIG problems.

No skid marks, plus looks wet outside. I think more went wrong here then just not having the brakes hooked up

For the amount of trouble it is to hook up trailer brakes and knowing it is just that much less to worry about it... Do it...

It can be done for under $100 and an hours worth of work on any newer vehicles..

My trailers brakes don't work and I've NEVER had a problem stopping with the Trunk loaded behind the F-1fiddy. :D

I'm supprised of that.. with the way you drive with the trailer on you truck.. i feel sorry for your car.. :dontknow:

any trailer over 3500 lbs has to have them. If you get pulled over they can make you activate them. BTW the max speed while towing is supposed to be 55 in MI
