Wanted good reliable car for college kid

My buddy is selling his wife's 2008 Dodge Caliber for $7200. Has 75,000 miles and needs nothing. His wife wanted another Jeep so that's the only reason for selling

I have a 2000 Explorer 4X4. It has 127K on it. It runs really well and is great in the snow. It also has new brakes and Goodyear tires. I have an ad in this section. I am asking $2200.

There is no better basic, cheap to maintain, tough car out there than a Crown Vic. You will be hard pressed to ever find a nicer Police Interceptor than this one either,[/QUOTE]

Want to race ??$$ Then we can talk about mpg...

I've owned both.. and I currently own an LT1 powered mini van. I can say this much, yes the Caprice/Impala is faster and more fun to drive, but it's also got an opti-spark which as you know is a major pita for most people, myself included. ;)

I still had the stock factory opti in my 95 impala with 78,xxx and the car was going 10;80's back in the day....with no problems..my non vented opti in my 93 formula went through 1 ..

i always parked my impala in my heated garage every winter so I'm sure that helped....I bought the car when it was brand new in 95.
