Not exactly a "Part" wanted, but atleast I posted in the Photo Forum - :roll:

Would like it to be running.

Must have 3/4" output shaft.
5 hp - 6.5 hp

pretty sure you can buy those from harbor freight, my buddy told me he got a 6.5hp one there at least, don't hold me to it just figured if your lookin to buy you could check it out

You can but they are the 6.5 Honda Clones. I am looking for the old straight up and down "L" Head Briggs or Tec motors.
The Harbor Fright motors wont fit in the application I need. I know as I have one at home and it wont work.

Evening bump... as I know some of you have some of what I am looking for just lying around tucked away in your sheds or Garages.
 
I coulda sworn you had a nice Chevelle that needs a little work......

Damn minibikes. I have to keep mine in the shed or I don't get anything else done.

The Chevelle does need some of my love yes!

I picked this nice Big Frame Mini for my dad as the one I built for him is way to awkward for him to ride. Makes me (and him) way nervous. This one is a Ruttman 500. Has all the TQ Converter setup and 6.5 wont fit on it, nor will the 5hp Briggs or 6hp Tec I have just sitting there. They hit the original Drive Shaft on the bike. I could just convert it over to a Clutch setup but that would be ashame not to use the nice original TQ stuff.

Damn Mini Bikes is right, but they are so fun to mess with and ride! :spank:

After seeing what you have going on, my car is sooooo boring! - LOL

He restores old ruppmans back to original and sells them for $2,000 each........ya $2,000
He must have 40-50 old ruppmans but he is pricey.

Did you ever wounder why ruppmans were painted Chysler colors ??
plum crazy purple,,,,,,hemi orange,,,,,etc
The guy that worked at ruppman also worked at Chysler and would steal the paint...

Thanks, it has been a bit but I have dealt with him...

This is a cheap fun hobby for me. Not looking to make a profit like him. He want's more than I want to spend.
 
I know of a couple refreshened flathead briggs with billit rods, just over stock cams and set up for alcohol. $200 each bolt on and go. Can be switched over to gas easy just buy changing jet in carb. You can also ck ( bobs4cycle.com )in the classifides and there are alot of flatheads for sale. Hope this helps. I race karts and know of a few.
 
We just dismantled a couple power washers here. I have a couple of engines.

I have a 5hp Honda and a 5.5hp Honda. Both are OHV.

I bet those are good deals and run great, but that is more than I want to put in to these little toys. No racing for this one I need.
