wanted...25lbs and 45lbs plates

hey john just an fyi, dicks sporting goods and sports authority run deals on 300lb sets for about $100 all the time. just need to keep an eye out.

Damn, I posted three craigslist links in this thread, guess I hit 'Go Advanced' instead of post quick reply...

Moral of the story, try Craigslist

John i have a milk crate full of old plastic weights you're welcome to have. Not sure how much weight is there all together but if you want them i can drop them off at your shop or at Diamonds and you can pick them up.

I think I can get you several 25# steel plates that are about 18: x 10" x 1" thick...They are all nicely ground and flat within .0005...It was a screw up at work. I don't think they've scrapped them yet...

I have at least 3 available and maybe 4....

I live in Troy and work in Novi....

Gary

troy is not that bad, i can meet you at 75 and 696 somewhere, im sure that is your route to work. maybe i can meet you on your way home one day. my number is 586-350-5134 call me and we can figure out where to meet at.

John,

I've got (3) 25# plates from work and I have another one at home for you. Although I take I-75 to 696 into work (at 4:30am), I usually take either Telegraph or M5 to Orchard Lake home because of the traffic at 4 on 696...

So, you can pick it up either at my house in Troy, or work in Novi...I will probably head to my Father-in-Laws house in Warren (Martin and Hoover) sometime within a week or so, and I could drop the weight off there. No one is currently living there....

Gary

I am heading out to my Father-in-Laws house this coming wednesday. I can drop the 100# off then, if you still want it...

Gary

Did you get my PM?

Any interest?
dont want to pay that much for lead bricks, plus the way i have it setup it works with the plates perfect. i cut a dumbell in half and had plates welded to it, and then welded in the car. so now i can slide the plates over the dumbell then screw the end on. so its secure and simple.
