***Wanted*** 20" BMX Bike

I was thinking about it. If no one ever buys that Haro its just going to rust away. Could I squeeze $75 out of you? The bike is tough as nails and costs like $400-500 new. Well, that was back probably 8 years ago. I have no idea what it costs now or if they even make it. It does need grips though. I can go take pictures if you are interested.

Nothing sweet like the all white GT Pro Performer I had back in the day, (wish I still had it, it was amazing! :( ) just a nice condition BMX to play around with. My mountain bike is boring and only used for cardio workouts and going on bike rides with my oldest daughter.

~$50 range would be nice.

Man I had a 1986 GT Pro Performer in light blue, white mags w/white tires that said GT down the middle, flip up pegs on the front forks, it was one of the first bikes in the neighborhood with a "gyro" LOL.....man those bikes were awesome.

I wonder how a BMX bike will stand up to a 230+ lb meathead putting it thru the paces by doing shit on it that he really shouldn't be doing at his age. lol

i rode at 250 and only thing i had a problem with was one piece cranks, rims could be a problem but not if your just riding it. if you get one i would invest in a 3 piece crank.

Mine was all white. I wanna say maybe an '89. My godfather bought it for me brand new from the Schwinn shop that used to be on Utica @ Masonic. Bitch was almost $400 BACK THEN!!! White tires, white mags, white frame, white seat, white brakes (pitbulls of course), white seat posts, white handlebars, white grips, white and chrome "Gyro," white pegs front and back, etc. I can't tell you how much of my dad's "Bleache-White" I used on the tires and mags of that bike. Had the yellow/black/white GT Pro Performer decals on it. I sold it in MINT condition to a friend's little brother MANY years back for $50. I thought I made out on the deal at the time. What an idiot. :shake:

I'll take it and build the rest. When and where? I'll be on WW all day tomorrow though. It will have to be after WDC.

I remember I saved and saved for a GT Vertigo! It was a performer with spoke wheels. I was never a fan of the mags.

Anyeways Al, I strongly adivise against this purchase.. This has drunkin mistake written all over it.

make sure you video it!
