VW Jetta Creamed .. Truck driver dies .. Jetta owner lives

Just got these pics from a friend of mine. His wife was rearended by a 18 wheeler tanker truck yesterday. Unfortunately the driver of the truck died at the scene from cardiac arrest. This was a 2008 VW Jetta.

I updated the title.. The Jetta is a very well constructed vehicle in terms of driver safety.

One of my buddies was a first responder to an accident where a semi truck hit a VW.. The car was destroyed, but the safety cage around the driver was in tact along with the driver.. Pretty sweet.

A puny econobox would be on its way to the grave, along with the owner.
