ive always wanted to do that. prob gonna be doing the same with my lincoln, keepin it an auto though
 
That car is neat. I watched the build over on LS1tech. Kid spent a lot of $$ on it though. To each his own.

R1 screwed up shifted out of 5th way early car jumped on him hard when he did that.

Still pretty impressive though.

Kind of messed up in the first video you can see his license plate...

Are you seriously defending the(any) bike when he raced a (any) car?

If that bike was stock stock stock (which who's is nowadays??) it puts about 160 to the tire. That's about 2:1 weight to HP. If that volvo puts down 700 to the tire, it probably weights about 3K, thats ~4:1 weight to power.

I wont even get into aerodynamics. Even when the bike started to catch up (when he shifted because you cant powershift a car like you can a bike) as soon as he got back in it he pulled hard.

Shit where the bike should be gaining ground 180+ the car was still pulling on the hard!!

I dont own a bike nor do I own a 700+hp Volvo, but I know where credit is due. That volvo is sick.:D

Wasn't saying it's not impressive but if I short shift my GSXR 1k like that i'm sure the same thing would happen. He was pulling on him in 4th and tbh I think he shifted 4th early because he was filming and didn't want to pass him.. Soon as he popped 5th he hit 6th pretty much killing any chance of keeping up with that car. Run your car and shift it from 1st to 3rd or 3rd to 5th and see how well it runs. He pretty much went straight from 4th gear into 6th.

The volvo is sick for sure but I think it was done more from a filming aspect then the 2 guys racing is all I'm saying. He short shifted 3rd real hard as well like way early bike wasn't even in its powerband yet.. and at a 50mph roll should of started in second :D just sayin ;)
