Pretty intense :)

A) I need a car with a gearbox like that
B) It's a miracle more people don't completely destroy themselves on that track. There is ZERO runoff
C) It's funny how so many of us know that circuit turn by turn from Gran Turismo

3-12 people die at that track every year.

I know, and that's still not very many in the context of how fast and how unforgiving it is.

that video has been posted here before, I tried very hard to find it for my comments,

That porsche driver was a dick, did nothing ACTUALLY wrong but as the viper driver I would not worry about racing him clean ever again.

lamborghinis are always holding up the faster cars like porsches, ferraris, corvette zr1's,dodge vipers, dodge omni's ect

I just watched the whole thing and I can't say I agree 100%. The Viper was a slightly faster car in the corners - especially better with exit speeds. But, I don't think you could argue it was fast enough to execute a clean pass (as evident in the video) in the traffic they were working through. On the straights, the cars seemed fairly equal on the top end, which explains why the Porsche stayed on the Viper's left and the Viper had to slow down to avoid traffic. IMO - the Porsche was just holding his line until he was cleanly passed.

From the looks of it, the Viper was clearly faster, but just could not execute a clean pass. Every time he was caught out by traffic and the Porsche pulled a little away, he caught up to him in no time at all. Decent battle either way.

Traffic was #1 factor. That track has about no place to pass. I excpected on the straightaway the Viper to leave the Porsche, then once he popped back in, I was very surprised. Nice run! Too bad the Corvette was way ahead where we couldn't see him race. ;)

I like the way you think... :D
