VIN check for ATVs?

Long story short is I bought a used Polaris Sportsman back in January and getting the runaround from the dealer on getting the title..
Anyone have a VIN checker site they can run the numbers?

Little update..
Bought a 2019 Polaris Sportsman from a dealer January 3rd and back then they said a title will be in the mail in 2-3 weeks.
No title has come yet.
Called the dealer and seems like they keep blowing me off.. "yea I'll have our office records call you"
I called Mi SOS and they said they have no record.. did a VIN check and its registered in VA.
called the VA SOS and won't give me any info..
Before I run this machine through there front picture window, what are my options?

Could you call the VA police and see if its been reported stolen?

Is it possible that there is a lien on the machine from the previous VA owner and the MI dealer cant clear the lien to transfer the title?

The dealer here said they bought it at an auction.. VA won't tell me anything
