Ma that car moved out,loved watching you launh too..And a very nice looking 5.0.

I was there with the black Turbo'd impala and the yellow Z.

315..Did you figure out what went wrong?Jeffs car broke the front diff and we had to wait there till 8 pm for the damn tow truck...not fun..haha
 
Thanks again guys. It was the first time out this year on slicks (previous time was on a DR). I am getting some info on adjustable clutches, and it looks as those thats the direction I will be heading in next. I have had far too many people tell me that an adjustable clutch will be worth a half of a second or more in this car too let it go unknown any longer. So I guess we'll see. 10.1x's - 10.0x's N/A out of a 347 with a stick would be pretty cool.

Thanks alot, I did not expect it to leave the way it was, but it was doing a nice wheelie... My girlfriend said that people were clapping after the wheelies... we think the motor is hurt, but we will have to pull it apart and see

i dont think youll pick up all that much with a adj clutch...your car works good so an adj clutch isnt going to help, now if you had a windsor or soemthign like that, that made a ton of torque then it would probably work better so it dont blow the tire off and you could leave at a high rpm..

val, do you put armorall on your sidewalls? your tires look real shiny in the pics...if so that could be an issue with traction, that shit can soak into your tread portion of the tire....
