Was a week or so ago. On his YFZ 450, he is a pretty good rider and just hesitated on the base of the jump. Broke his foot and his tooth broke off from the top of his mouth into his lip. Watch his face hit the bars without a pad.

OUCH. Hopefully he learned and will go bigger next time. :sagrin:
 
That sucks. I feel his pain. You need to make sure you get your heels on the pegs when you know your gonna case the landing. It can save you ankles and feet. I just had an MRI couple weeks ago and the doctor pointed out the bone compresion (big dent) in my knee from situations like that. Hope he recovers well.
 
Damn, just needed an extra 3 mph or so.
This is the reason I leave that kind of stuff to the crazies.
 
last time i was at a "track" with my raptor the same thing happened to me, i didn't hesitate though i got to carried away with the go thumb, lost traction and momentum coming up the take off, landed the center of the quad on the very lip of the landing ramp
my balls haven't been the same sence. :shutup:

needless to say i haven't been back to a track or jumped "prepped" jump sence then... ill stick to launching off a sanddune 4th pinned...
 
if i ever get the balls to ride MX im finding someone experienced to speed check me into the jumps..
