vibration from 1500rpms - 2200 rpms

im stuck, when i start my car up its fine.

i hold the idle at about 1500 rpms my whole car shakes like hell! all the way to 2200 rpms.

then after 2200, its fine and dandy ...

Harmonic balancer?

Yes you are correct....I had a balancer crack on my 94 stang, and that is exactly where it would vibrate......I had a notch were it slides on the crank, if the balancer cracks and shifts it will throw the balance off....Thats your vibration. Get it replaced ASAP.
