Vette owners??

Looking for some info on purchasing a used corvette. I am looking for the do's and don'ts. What do I want to look for years/model/options wise and what do I want to stay away from years/models and options wise.? Also where are some places to find some decent cars for reasonable price.

Here is what I am interested in
years 2000-2003
must be a 6 speed :gr_drivin
must have a removable hard top no convertables
Looking for something lower milage or that has been well taken care of.

What can I expect to spend for a nice car?

that was my search Criteria to last year and I just looking around and the best deal I found was at LES STANFORD, 2000, with 40K on it for 22K toss in a few more bucks for the 3 100K year extended warranty, which is going to pay for my 408 stroker..... that is open to anyone that wants to build it for me too
 
Keep an eye out on CorvetteForum as there are great deals all the time on used Vettes.

I found my '99 coupe, very clean with 41,000 miles on Autotrader. Paid $20,500 in November of '05. Had the chrome '00 wheels and some other nice touches.

I have a very close friend who is selling her 02 Millenium Yellow Z06. Its somewhat modded with bolt ons, but its a beautiful car, well maintained. Te price is very reasonable as well. PM Me for more details and i'll get you in touch with her.
