Very Random

They are just gonna put me out and do all 4 . I have to go to a oral surgeon. The dentist said that will be the best bet. I have never been put under , no surgery. What can I expect. Kinda worried about not coming back.............

I'm a PRO at having oral surgery done now! I just had 4 teeth removed about 2 months ago and will be having 6 more pulled in the next 2 months. There's two types of "going under" for oral surgery. It's not like you think it will be in a hospital. They don't IV you up, give you some drugs and watch you drift off to sleep.

You'll be in the oral surgeons office. You'll sit in a chair that looks like every other dentist chair. The options are that they give you a drink that is supposed to relax you to the point that you just sort of pass out. Takes about 30 minutes to kick in and you'll doze off to sleep. You're not completely out of it either. I sitll felt the shots in the mouth, but I didn't wake up. I also had to be put on laughing gas as I don't do needles at all... Knowing I would eventually be poked, my blood pressure was high and I was all sorts of jittery. This is despite me having stayed up over 24 hours hoping that I would just zonk out in the chair immediately.

You'll have the surgery, then you'll come to feeling all sorts of doped up. Go home and sleep the rest of the day.

Dr Teeth will have to chime in here on this, as I know there's probably other ways that this is done, but this is how the procedure went for me for my 4 teeth pulled. The next surgery will pull 6 more as well as do some bone grafting, so I'll probably end up in the hospital for a day or two.

OMFG on our way to the docters {Jessicas 4 month check up} We saw this blonde chick on a harley in black spandex, black high heels, dressed like she was going to a club with a back pack. What the hell we couldn't stop laughing and pointing... It was prolly the weirdest thing I've ever seen pretty sad huh?
