Very impressive collection getting auctioned this weekend...

And paid through the nose. My Uncle knows him, says he's a super nice guy.

I'm sure he's got one of those standing deals where he buys any charity vehicle Ford throws up to guarantee they get some acceptable number.

He's got a huge collection too. I think this is only like a third of it.

It's very hard to judge what will happen at any given auction, especially at one where an entire collection is being liquidated. On the right day, I can see that car going for $375k, which would be the high water mark that I have seen for a non-Heritage car.

Lest anyone doubt my expertise, hammer price was $380k. Good guess!

When you factor in buyer's premium, that's gotta be $410-420k. Insanity.

I would say it's likely right in the neighborhood of $500k. The problem with super high dollars and super low miles is just who you're in front of. Right now dealers are just throwing darts at the board hoping to land a sucker at a randomly concocted huge price. Legit sales on Heritages with low miles are beginning around $400k and go up from there. The extreme, extreme, extreme outlier I have ever seen was a similar mileage car that sold for $570k. That is by far the highest I have ever seen. He would have zero problem getting rid of it for $425-$450k quickly.

Thats insane. I just texted him what the 12 mile car sold for and he was right on. He said "I could probably get $500k for the heritage."
