vanity plate question

few years back i had a vanity plate for the mustang, then i renewed a year later and took the standard plate given out at SOS. i still have the vanity plate...am i able to renew it?

its available, just checked. wonder what it saves me be using the old over getting a new one made? just the $5 service fee? i think i still have to pay the special fee of $8 plus $2 per month in service

The only difference is that you have the plate to install right away.

$15 extra for vanity on top of your regular registration. I renew mine every year.
