Vacuum Pump??

I was wondering when the application of a Vacuum Pump would be necessary? Who runs them on their vehicles and how have they benefited from using them. I have low tension rings in my new set up and was told to run one especially running N2O. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, who makes a good pump? Thanks in advance:handshake:

My simple advise is, and don't take this wrong please, listen to the guy who spec'd your ring-pack as has been suggested already...Your question leads me to beleive you are second guessing the builder. Most people I know don't run low-tensoin oil rings anymore. The added benefit, lower rotational friction, won't offset the ring flutter and oil contamination you'll experience without a pump.
