Vacuum Leak?

I noticed something funny at the down river cruise, when coming to a stop light I tapped my brakes a couple of times and my Vacuum went up? From about 5.5" to around 7" So after I stopped I put the car in netural and hit the brakes and sure enough the idle went up along with my Vacuum??? I am stumped, anyone dealt with this before.

Leaking booster is possiable. Does it continue to change the idle or just when you hit the brakes ?

My old Mustang had a brake booster leak and it did the same thing.

When I hit the brakes the Vacuum and idle goes up. Tonight without any changes my car was idling around 1700 when it idles @ 1300 normal. The vacuum reading was up also.

How do I go about fixing this?

Tonight it changed the idle, before it would only change when I would hit the brakes.

Little issues bug me. I dont care for them. Although I didnt really drive my car that often to find them(or care for that matter). Nickle and dime shit aint no fun. I want real issues, blown headgaskets, broken transmissions. Shit that goes wrong from too much power. Not a god damn headlight that flickers because the wiring is 25 years old, lol
