Anybody know where I can get something like this local?
Not going to Electronic Connection in Westland, but anywhere else is fine.
I'd like it to fit into the stock location of the original lighter, a little modification is fine though.

I would just like to say I've been there 3 times this year and their customer service was pretty good.

I've had problems years ago with them and basically had to go back... I go back with caution, but lately they have been decent to me at least.

Amazon bro. $9 shipped.

FWIW, I've gotten some of that China/Hong Kong stuff from eBay really damn quick in the past. 2 weeks is more of a maximum in my experience, although obviously YMMV.

I've had some things to my house in a week from China or Hong Kong. I'd venture to guess it depends on the container ship it's loaded on. If it's loaded on to an empty ship, they're going to wait until it's full before they send it off. If it's mostly full already, you'll receive it faster.

I ordered something close to this one.
Thanks for the help...
I'd prefer to go local, but doesn't seem like places that carry this stuff are too popular anymore.
I had an issue with electronic connection about 15yrs ago, never looked back.

I have to ask because they're local and have never gone there, what the hell did this place do that burned so many bridges? Not often I hear of a smaller place that upsets so many customers and is still in business.

I want to know how they're still in business. I never see any cars there and haven't gone there myself since I was younger and infatuated with cb radios lol.

Worst. Service. Ever.

It's been so long (20+ years), I don't even remember what the guy did that pissed me off so much. I just remember telling myself I would never go back and I haven't.

I worked at a place at a nearby industrial park, and none of the electronics guys would go there, no matter how bad they needed something.

I was looking for something for my car stereo install. I needed a bunch of RCA male to male 90’s. They have them in stock and of decent quality. Before buying I wanted to try them out, they said they couldn’t do that and if I wanted to try it then I needed to buy. I had the car in the lot and could do this in about 5 minutes. Ok, so I bought them, about $100 or so.
Took them out to the car and tried to install the connectors how it would be used with my stereo. Wouldn’t fit, so I put them all back in the package and then walked back in to return them. They wouldn’t return them because they were opened, which they were. I used care not to destroy the packaging, and I could have put the packaging back together for them if they thought it was too much work.
Nope, we don’t do returns on electronic items. I’m thinking, this is a connector, not anything electronic. Nope, its hooked to a radio, can’t return it.
I went home and called my credit card company to dispute the charges and explain my situation, they credited me the funds.
Done deal, not going back…
