Pretty shitty thing to joke about, nothing short of a miracle that those people survived.
 
Geese with turbans on? Kinda funny. Everybody lived. It wasnt tragic. Therefore, we can laugh about it.

But did they survive? Yes.

Therefore, it is okay to joke about. If even one of them died, then no, but everyone lived.

Loosen up a bit.
 
You don't feel so bad for the passengers when you hear that some of them refused to get off the plane without their luggage. One lady stood in front of an exit and refused to get off until someone got her luggage. Someone picked her up and threw her in the raft. Another older woman standing on the wing in a fur coat asked a complete stranger to go inside to fetch her purse. One lady completely ignored the flight attendant telling her not to open the rear emergency exit allowing water to flow into the back of the plane. No one got hurt except for one person who broke their legs, seems fine to laugh about if you ask me. It's only not funny when someone gets hurt, then it's hilarious.
