Upgrading fuel pump?

I'm upgrading from a 20 year old Holley Blue. Does anyone have any experience with Summit Brand 140gph electric fuel pumps? Or the Earl's? I know for sure the Earl's are made by
Holley. Trying not to spend anymore than i have too. Although the Aeromotives are nice.

I do not have experience with Holley Blue, but I ran a Bosch 044 inline on my Chevelle and was great. Not all that noisy for an inline (Out of Tank) pump IMO.

I believe the Holley Blue is for a carb engine, where as the Bosch 044 is an EFI pump is a EFI type high pressure pump.
I've got no experience with carb engines, but I think it would be tough to regulate the EFI pump down to carb acceptable pressures.
044 is a great pump though.

As long as you have a return style regulator and fuel system its not a big deal. Aeromotive actually makes a regulator with a changeable spring so you can switch back and forth. When big power is wanted lots of fuel is needed and the low pressure carb style pumps just can’t keep up with the flow demand.
