now with pics! there you go suckers.
here's my rear brake setup. lincoln rotors, cadillac calipers, custom brackets
here's the motor after rerouting all the wires. i still have to wrap them up but it's a hell of a lot better than it was.
here's the passenger side fenderwell after the wiring. you can see the power distribution block right at the firewall. also there is my front brake setup, which is lincoln rotors and calipers.
another angle of the motor, was still wiring at this point.
here's the driver's side fenderwell. again most of this is still pretty messy but it'll get cleaned up. the white box underneath is the remanufactured steering rack i put in when i found that the inner tie rods were bent.
front air dam and hood scoop after primer, rid of the gay sparkly black paint
top half of the front bumper and my fenders, also post primer.
as of this evening, the following is done:
fuel tank installed
fuel lines run
rear end and brakes assembled
front suspension and brakes assembled
rearmount battery finished
all electrical run except the front lighting
driveline works, spun the tires over for the first time today under its own power (still on jackstands....)
front brake lines made, still have to make the rears
in order to have a running and driving vehicle i still need to do the following:
wire the cooling fan and other miscellaneous things
preassemble the body
finish the exhaust (install tailpipes/get hangers made for the mufflers and x-pipe.
install driveshaft loop, subframe connectors, weld up torque boxes and upper control arm mounts
once that laundry list is done it's all about sanding down the primer and the shitty parts of the old paint job in preparation for the real paint. so it looks like, knock on wood, i'll have it completed by or around june.
