Other than a couple bruises and the emotional burden on my kids for a couple day everything is fine. It would come down to witnesses again and they would find more people to lie and I would have to pay for an attorney I already can't afford. I think they know someone in the city or something just because how things have been handled to this point. We are going to call to complain. I may have her call an attorney just to see if it is worth pursuing but again I really don't have the cash to dish out.

WOW our justice system is so fucked up its not even funny. i comend you for not beating that dudes ass, i prolly would not have had that self control. and after thm getting off scott free i would have hunted him down and made sure there were no witnesses lol. im sorry they didnt do anything to the trashy punks. maybe he will come on your property to try to do something stupid and you can get your revenge.

I was pretty sure of that, I wasn't pushing him to get involved but if he wants the case he is welcome to it. We are going to check some shit out tomorrow and see what we can resolve with the police. I am really unhappy how this was handled.

dude i would definitely try something. Cops are useless and don't want to deal with paperwork.
My dad tried to swipe a knife at me and when I called the cops they didn't do anything and just thought I was trying to get him in trouble. They are garbage man.
Regardless of what they say, the facts are:
She was walking with her children.
She has a knot and bruise on her face.

Lawyer up. I'm sure if there is a case to be made, there would be a law office that would handle the case for a cut of the winnings. It would be up to them to decide if its worth going after though.
As far as beating the kids ass, it seems like a good idea, however, even if it was in a dark alley way, the second he went to the cops, they would be pounding on your door looking for you. Right now, your probably #1 on the list of people that would want to hurt him. He knows this as do the police. Its a slippery slope.
