whats your plan with the inner wheel house after you raise the quarter panel? thats going to take some work to fab the two together? you ever thought of mini tubbing it?

:screwy: Gonna give her some 70's/80's style M/T's that stick out a mile?

Detroit Speed and Engineering just came out with a complete mini tub kit for 2nd gen camaros and firebirds (i think this nova is covered in that area too :dontknow:) and looks pretty bad ass on the F-bomb project camaro in hotrod. Lots of fabrication required though.

the problem with mini tubs in my car is it wount fix my wheel offset and if i go deeper with the backspace it will be to close to the leaf springs, also my inside hatch panels wont fit with a mini tub , im just killing two birds with one stone , fixing rust and getting more rubber room. i plan on connecting the inner well by welding it on the back side of the new opening and just have a single lip any other small gaps i will fill with roofing tar. then after the fix ill think about paint.

how did you know? i was thinking maybe a set of bastard 14x9 ansen sprints with a huge offset so the M/T n50's can stick out 5" than all i will need is a tunnel ram with stacks and ill be ready to race!
