Its just that, I am taking the tranny out and wondering what the 3 plugs are that plug into the tranny? Im guessing one is a reverse light and some thing must not allow you to turn over the car now that its unplugged? I turn the key and now she wont turn over?

the clutch switch is under the dash. it should still start/turn over with those plugs taken out.

neutral safety switch would prolly be your problem
however the car should still start with the clutch depressed, make sure your clutch depression switch is working properly if not put a jumper cable on it and it should start

I will definatly look at the clutch pedal switch, but its wierd i didnt do anything near the clutch pedal. I just unhooked the spedo cable and plug near that. and the other plugs from the bottom of the car at the tranny.

im having the same issue right now... exept mine is a AOD to t5 swap... its either the neutral safety switch at the pedals that's bad... or you have to jump the two wires that go on the connector thats closest to the bellhousing...

i think one of those plugs under neath the car you have to have plugged in... one is for the reverse lights and one is the safety diagnostic switch or something like that for the tranny... that one needs to be jumped i believe...

please let us know what you did to get it working. (so i can find out what i need to do with my AOD harness, LOL)

On my 5speed the was a 4 prong plug that I just had to tie two of the wires together and it worked fine. Now I have to disable the clutch saftey switch as well. Thanks for the help MM

can you tell me which two wires you have to tie together.... i have to do the same thing to get mine to start.

I will even take a picture for you after work tonight. I remember one of them was a red wire, and there is only 1 four prong plug around there that goes up to the trans tunnel opening if that helps. I will check for sure tonight though.

yes i know which connector your talking about. its the only one coming out of the trans tunnel other than the plug for the speed sensor... it has 4 pins in it... i just need to know which two wires are for the switch on the trans so i can jump them.

HALLELUJAH! i found the two wires that need to be spliced together... the colors are white/pink and red/light blue.... i spliced them together and went to start my car and all i hear is CLICK. no starter... just fuel pump and a click... dead battery?

By the sounds of it you need onsite help...these questions have too many possibilities to be answered over a forum. Time to get a knowledgeable person over there to put thier hands on it and really help. And i'm not trying to be mean...but if you can't tell something as simple as a dead battery...you're in over your head.

Splice the white with Pink wire to the Blue with Red wire, thats what worked with mine atleast. Those 2 wire are in the only 4 wire round connector down there at the tranny. Hope this helps.
