undercoating recomendations

Could be brake dust or rail dust. Is it a white truck? My dad's '16 F150 has it all over the bottom rear of the bed. He needs to use a product like Iron-X to remove it from the paint.

Clay bar takes it right off. I had to clay my white truck every spring from all the rust spots that accumulate over the winter. Bottom of the body panels and the tailgate were the worst.

Chemical Iron removal then clay is the safest method, and much easier. Iron-X stinks to high heaven. I switched to McKee's 37 Extreme Iron Remover and it works just as well. Still smells but not as bad as Iron-X.

Interested to see pics of the F-150 that has rust spots.

Wow, $129 for my Silverado. I too am thinking I need to head
north for my rustproofing. Perhaps a Motown Muscle Canada
rustproofing party of sorts?

Yeah really, I'm blown away by the amount of responses on this thread. I didn't even think we got this much attention and visits in a week on the site anymore. :)

Well, in all fairness, this thread is 3 years old.

This place isn't a ghost town yet, but getting
close :icon_sad:

There is a few of us still kicking that visit this
place fairly often :icon_smil

Does anyone know if the Krown coating is black? I have a truck with some surface rust on the frame and springs I want to get done.... I should just call them.
