He basically gave him a lesson in MMA. I'm not gonna lie, I saw glimpses of Muhamid Ali last night in the way Silva is able to maneauver around punches. He basically dropped his guard and and said, "come at me and and give me your best shot"! Dodging a right, and then a left from Griffen before administering a quick right job to the cheek area to finish the fight. What's funny is that the punch was hit while he was backing up, was a fast/light punch, and did not appear to be a knock out punch what so ever. All I have to say is look out light heavy weights.
 
This was the end. Griffen hit the ground and put his hands up like no more. Right before it Silva had him on the ground again and let him get up instead of finishing the fight then.

i was very excited to see this fight.. i though for sure it would go a few rounds .. so we could actually see silva fight for more then a min or 2 and try to expose a few weakness.. i like forest and his quote before the fight bite hiim in the ass.. he said silva makes GOOD fighters look bad!!!. i saw forest get rocked 2 times and was alil suprized but i was totaly how it droped forest just with a lil tag on the check.. i just kinda threw my hands up .. did that really just happen?.. I realllly wanna hear what forest has to say after that fight.. it pretty much ran out ..probly in shock and embarassment.

i also noticed silva pushin the pace and tellin forest LETS GOO!! and forest just kinda put his hands up like.. fuckkk you already rocked me.. and i cant even hit you wtf do you want from me??

Dislocated jaw and couldn't hear from his left ear according to the 'news'. He ran out of the cage to seek immediate medical attention.
 
ya, i think forest lost hope after he couldnt even touch him and silva kept tagin him.

you see when anderson put his hand out to help him up? after forest coulnt touch him he should have tried to shoot and take him down. if something isnt working you need to switch it up.

i cant wait to see whats next for silva.
 
no shit?.. well that would make sence.. i was going to say.. thats just not like forest hes normal a good sport.. and to see him throw his hands up and quit then run out is just not like him .. hes got to much heart..but with a messed up jaw..thats alil more understandable
 
soo.. did anyone hear anything about the fight that was going on in the stands? it was kinda funny to watch everyone looking away from the fighters in the octagon to watch another fight.. even joe rogan said the fight in the stands was more intertaning then real fight

I was torn in this fight - I like both of them. I wanna see penn / st pierre 3.
 
Now its time for dana to tell gsp to move up to 185 and fight anderson. Thats the fight that everyone wants to see, I believe more than Fedor vs brock

i do agree to a point, id love to see a gsp, silva fight. i think there both very talented..and as much as i would want to be on gsp side.. i think silva is just way to big for gsp..with anderson in the 205 he still looks big.. he looked bigger then the sandman.. and was close to forest and forest is a big light heavy..forest was thicker with more muscle tho.. gsp would have to put on alot of weight and muscle to step up that much..your talkin about 170lbs fighting a 205er... i would think they would set the fight up at a 185 or a catch weight ..

penn won by sub.. he choked florian out..i was really excited to see this fight too.. florian has really come along way.. but penn SCHOOLED florian.. this was the first time i think ive every seen penn pace himself..florian just look very one demensional in my eyes.. florians plan was to shoot in on penn and push him agaist the cage and hold him there with his shoulder in penns rims to squeeze the air out of penn.. and thats pretty much the only thing he did .. which did work alil.. but your not going to win that way.. and he tryied to take penn down with a one leg many times.. which isnt going to work.. penn has way to much balance .. and the first time penn shot on florian he took him down with ease and sub him with relitive easy..he really showed hes on another level then florian.. penn looked really focused for once and also looked very thick im guess his new training has soemthing to do with that
 
yea forest went out.... good fight ...but people dont realize its not even how good you are... silva is a beast though .... but he just hit him in the jaw just right... theres a nerve in your jaw that if wiggled/tapped/moved/pinched/touched by a blown leaf.... its instant lights out... not to mention can dislocate the jaw like what happened.... id like to see a Griffin V Silva 2
 
that was by far the worst fight ive ever seen... the first four fights sucked... forrest looked like he threw the fight like a poor acting bitch... and the last fight blew... Penn Florian was the only good fight of the night

Anybody notice that Kendall Grove has lost his spark that he used to have, hardly any kicks or knees?


Looked like Amir got screwed by early stoppage, didn't look like the guy was even hitting him.
