Twisteds 82 GT build

swapped out my tube k-member, a-arms, and coil overs today. Felt great to work on my car after so long.

Ive been installing my fiberglass dash- its been kicking my ass. I couldnt cut the top out around the bars to where they fit tight- lots of angle on the bars and lack of talent behind the holesaw...so.... im gonna have to make some covers for around the bars. Bigg came over and helped with the mounting ideas. Now the dash will go on or come off in literally a minute. All thats left now is getting some gauges cut in, finish cutting the column plastics, and getting it painted.

Looks good. How big a pain was it to mount?

Not bad mounting it- just fabbed a couple small brackets and a hoop for the top to sit on. cutrting around the bars sucked. I made a carboard template but it was a little more foregiving around the bars than the real thing when I slid it in and out.

Thought about going with a fiberglass too. Probably wait a while before I go that route.

thats why i dont mount fiberglass dashes for people! it sucks, but now i can send them to you! good job!!:thumbsup:
