Just fishing around seeing what is on the market for this beautiful hot rod. Looking for something a little more practical. I do not have a garage to put it in this winter and would want it to go to some one that would take good care of it. It is fast and fun and very complete. I have drove it from NY to MI with out any issues and would do it again in a heart beat. Willing to entertain all trade offers (straight up, money on my or your end).
The car does have factory pony rims with new tires as well as the draglites that are pictured. You will need new tires for the rear draglites but the front skinnies only have a few thousand miles on them. It has not been tracked but if you can get traction its easily a low 13 second car as it sits and could be much much faster with a good tune. Under the hood has been spray painted to match. Has a decent kenwood cd player with iPod hook up. all the speakers sound good and the interior is very clean. The spare tire area looks like new. No rust anywhere on the car although the paint is a DIY job. Its a really nice looking car from 10ft. The speedo is broken and I use a mechanical temp gauge so the factory gauge doesn't work either. I just installed an electric cooling fan as well that i have wired to a switch. Car is extremely solid and could easily be turned into a full race car or resto/show car with little effort. No cracks in the dash and the ghetto shift light is gone. No cruise or a/c but the compressor is still there. Still has the piece that covers the rear area and the tie down for the removable sun roof. It gets looks every where I go and everyone seems to like it a whole bunch.
Mileage is ~72,000 and from the looks underneath and all around I'd believe it. I was told the engine was rebuilt with in the last 30,000 but I have no proof of this. No leaks underneath.
This is the mod list and I am sure there is more that I am forgetting:
Recent garage paint job
5.0 bored .020 over
Mild cam
Aftermarket heads
38lb injectors with matching MAF
70mm throttle body
GT40 intake
Forged pistons
paxton supercharger
3.73 gears out back
Ford racing headers
Spec Stage 3 clutch
Hurst Short throw shifter
flowmaster exhaust that ends at the rear end
Weld drag lights front and rear
Koni shocks eibach springs
Welded in sub frame connectors
Sunpro boost and mechanical Temp gauge
Electric cooling fan
Mishimoto radiator and cap
Headlights have been restored but could just more on the drivers side
The car is currently located in Northern New York but I can travel if a deal is worked out. I am not in a hurry to sell just seeing what is out there. Once again looking for something more practical, for example something that could be good in this New York snow. Since there has to be a price I am going to go with $6500 OBO and of course I'll look for trades. I can get pictures of anything else you want and maybe even a video if you would like to hear it run.
