America is the melting pot. Do you know what happens to chocolate or cheese when you put it into a melting pot ? It all becomes the same. We have a set of cultural standards and ONE flag. If you cannot accept the culture , the laws, or one flag, then you dont belong.

Nice to whip out the racist flag, moron. So our 26th president was a member of the KKK ? Please elaborate on how asking people that want to be americans to give up thier allegance to a foriegn land is racist ?
The pledge starts out " I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America..."
That means you forsake all other flags, customs, and avatars to be an american.

If you want what this country has to offer, you act and play by its rules. You dont use ALIEN customs and say " you americans dont understand" .

How long would i last in Lebanon if i drove an 80 camaro with cragers, wore an american flag shirt everywhere i went, and pulled hump and dumps on every chick i could find ? I imagine not very long since if i wanted to live there, i better adopt some behaviors to fit in.

If you want to be an american, act like an american. Eat mc donalds, drink budweiser, AND MAKE YOUR OWN MONEY .
