Turbo LS Powered Regal

awesome build. Add the stock front chin spoiler and it should cover the remainder of the intercooler but it will leave the part for the intercooler scoupe on a stock GN open showing about 20 inches of your cooler

Wow, I like the wheel & tire combo! That intercooler is HUGE!!!! I think the chin spoiler would look better to hid it more. I wonder if you will have a cooling problem since it will block alot of air from moving through the rad. :dontknow:

Keep the pics coming. I miss my old G-body, it wasn't fast, but it was cool.

Dont the stockers cover it up enough? why block off the front of the IC from air. Id leave the stock air dams on and just black out the bottom of the IC if possible

I am bouncing back and forth between the two.
There is alot of surface area on that IC, so a little bit blocked off shouldnt be an issue.

I know one way to find out if it is going to over heat. Beat the snot out of it.

nice car and motor combo, i really wish i could afford to get a ls motor for my camaro, the only thing i afforded and could find for my build was a 96 lt4 motor out of a vette.

i bought the RJC intercooler for my car and it fit the full front like yours, just didn't hang that low. But it definitely requires a 4 core aluminum rad and 2 high powered fans if you street drive it.

Right now I have a Griffin Radiator with flex-a-lite fans. Hope it works ok.

youd be surprised on how little the radiator is on Ls1 Camaros, its only like 3/4" thick. You may be OK, I didnt have an intercooler on my regal, but the LS stayed cool as a cucumber with just the factory GN radiator

how did you make the alternator relocation?

Out of some scrap I had laying around!

Basically I made a rod that comes off of the head and goes to the back of the alternator and then a little metal strap that bolts to the bottom side of the alt to the top of the tentioner!
