Yup. That's exactly what happend. He beat me while I was on 10 lbs, then I beat him when I upped it to 12 lbs. That Vet was FAST! Much faster than I thought it was going to be. But I should have not expected any less than a car that went 10.0 in the heat.

Not really. The first race the Vet won by about 1 car and the race never went past 130 (at least i didn't make it past that) because there was a car coming up along the vet's lane and he had to shut it down.

The second race I was able to wind out 4th gear which takes me to 140 and I won by about 1.5 cars. This result of the second race came straight from Sebastian after we raced.
