I'm sitting here filling up my Z and I thought what would happen if I topped it off with a couple few gallons of 110

Do you have 02 sensors? They would be McFucked if you run leaded 110 in it. The nozzle won't fit in your stock filler neck either.

You're just throwing $ away... it will feel a little better on the butt dyno but all it's really doing is trashing your O2's

Depending on the car you can run an E85 mix and get the same or better results. I usually run about 70% gas to 30% E85 in my truck now and then just to keep the valves clean. It's a cheap alternative to octane booster or fuel system cleaners. Google it if you want to do a little research.

In my NA LS1 car I found that a 50/50 mix of 93/110 slowed it down a little. In my 04 Cobra (12 psi) I found that a 50/50 mix actually picked it up a little, well I ran my best passes the day I had a 50/50 mix anyways, maybe it was just a combination of things.

What about a half gallon if blue with half tank 93. Would you hurt anything besides the o2s?

It will actually slow it down.

This.

The fuel burns colder so you would not create as much combustible energy as with regular pump gas.

Like these guys said, it will slow it down. Don't waste your money.

Never understood why people did this, besides liking the smell?

I think people have some misconception of racing fuel they think its like rocket fuel or something and will make your car faster just by putting it in there.

well said, 87 is the most explosive of all of the fuels...but think its just crap only because of the octane.

110 in a car that doesn't require it is a waste.

if you really want to use some higher octane you can use the 100 unleaded stuff

THIS! I ran at Waterford in a little Suzuki Swift GTi and is was very noticeable. Some cars like it, some don't. My car advanced the timing until the knock sensors kicked it. Some cars limit the advance.
