TT GT vs. WRX Standing Mile

It was just a joke. We were standing around at the end of the day and they thought it would be funny to show just how much more ridiculously fast one of the cars was versus what constitutes a pretty fast car to normal people. It wasn't to actually "race" the two cars.

I know what you mean. I try to describe my car to people at times and they are like, "is it as fast as a Corvette?" so now I always compare to what the Corvettes run. Without something relative, people that aren't into drag racing have no idea about how different a fast purpose built streetcar is compared to a showroom stock "fast" sports car.

The best way to show them would be exactly what you guys did. Have the camera in the Subaru and watch the TT GT disappear in a few seconds. lol

The BEST part when I had the Lightning, is I would say. it's quick for a farm truck and hauling hay, then blow their doors off!

DBK, what do you do for a living? itt seems as if youre always hangin out with supercar peeps just having a good ole time, do you actually work anywhere?

More like over 1 mile. He would be 4500+ feet if he stopped accelerating and coasted at 220mph.

You're right. I forgot to carry the 1 or some shit like that.

4517.3', 85% of a mile (assuming a constant speed). Anyway, that's enough math lesson for the day. Thanks for the correction.
