This is a 1996 Chevy 1500 Long Bed Full Size w/ a V6. And it's a manual.
We will be driving down the road, mostly during cold starts, and the truck will just randomly shut down completely. All power. You basically just keep the clutch out and it turns back on. It will do this for a good 10 minutes and then stops. Shut the truck off, let it sit, and it will do the same thing again. Sometimes it will also rev the motor to about 2.5K and holds it without you pushing on the gas. You basically have to shut the truck off and start it back up and it will hopefully stop that too.
Any ideas on both of these problems? It is a brand new battery and alternator.
