Ive seen guys ride on water on the Salt River outside of Scottsdale, AZ, and they had paddles on the back and a wide, ridged tire up front, along with sponsers and a set of brass balls. The ramp is a new one though, wish he had hit that flip, that woulda been icing on the cake.

i have seen dudes do it with just regular knobbys. Ya just gotta haul ass. Sleds can do it all day long. Sleds can even start with the skis pretty much in the water they are like non floating jet skis.

Looks like he was on regular tires.
If it was a paddle tire, you would have seen the paddle tossing a good amount of dirt on his approach.
