Transmission help on the west side.

I have a 4x4 2000 chevy that is bucking when the converter locks.

Who in the Novi / Farmington / Livonia area would you take it to?

Sounds like a Missfire issue. Do you get a flashing check engine or SES light ?

No engine light, but I think it might be tcc sole. or TPS?

Shudder is very very very uncommon on that transmission. I would bet on Missfire or EGR trouble.

what about ujoints?

U joints are less than a year old. They feel tight, no cluck D to R.

I agree with sean. mid range and under load it will shudder / fells like a converter but is usually a misfire.

If it is a trans problem. Joel's on Joy has done alot of work for us. Despite what some people may say he has always done a great job for me.
