Transbrake Suggestions?

Not sure if it really matters or not, but I was thinking about going with a transbrake for the firebird. Help build more boost off the line. Right now I can't build any off the footbrake.

Any brand suggestions? This is for a 700r4.

pulling the pin the rest of the way outa the grenade ? in all seriousness I can't think of one company that makes a transbrake for a 700r4. I know they make them for the 4l60e. You could swap to a 4l60e and get a rossler manual valvebody and transbrake setup. Still a grenade though.

That bad eh? Hmmm. I just want to eliminate that awful turbo lag off the line.

swap in a 2004r and make life alot simpler for ya. You could talk to ridings about the 700r4 though. He'd be the only dude I know of crazy enough to try it.

My old machinist Jim Murray was doing transbrakes in the 700r4 years ago. I have no clue where he is now but I know he scored a job at the Hi-po GM R&D building in Wixom. I'll see if I can scrounge up a number.

I would like to, but then I have to invest in a new TC, drive shaft, and torque arm. Sort of an expensive move for me that I'd rather not make unless I need to.
