aye. i used to get them filled at baker gas in southgate. right off 75. that is the closest place i can think of to you. my shop is down river tho. good luck
 
I think you can get oxy/acet tanks filled at Wilson Welding, but am not sure, I have only gotten CO2/Argon there. Look for AGA as well. They are everywhere.

I gotta ask though, did you buy a used setup? If so, check the dates stamped on the tanks. They are only good for 10 years. I bought a tall setup used a few years back, and am close to needing gas, and the acetelyne tank is damn near 10 years old..
 
Yeah, I just got my acetyline tank filled at the Wilson Welding just north of 21 mile on the west side of gratiot.
 
bakers or wyandotte welding which ever is open or has the better price that day.. its nice to call them both and go back and forth untill one will give me a deal on stuff.....


btw they are both 5 mintues from my house.
 
and if the tanks are expired, no biggie, if they look, its just a small fee(for a new hydrotest), and they will likely just exchange them anyway(might as well if they are used, if they are brand new, tell them you would like a new tank back, or those ssame tanks back once filled, may need to come back for them if so)
