Just curious, how come you didn't put "outriggers" from the frame ties to the rockers for the front bars to mount to?

the cage was done before the frame ties were put in. this will cert to 8.50 the way it is with the plates. i think it migh even go to 7.50 with the plates then you need the updates

7.50 cert you need a 25.5 cage, you will be good for 8.50 cert.

You would have to add a lot of bars, all the bars under the car, you would have to lower the cross bar on the main hoop, full funny car cage. This is a lot you have to add for a 8.50 to 7.50 cert.
