This guy was running mid 12's-low 13's all day.

There was another C6 Z06 that could not get into the 12's.

I saw a blue one this spring at Milan with a manufacturer plate on it that hit reverse at half track on three seperate runs.

There was a Camaro there with an LS7 in it from GM high performance. It was a test vehicle. They were trying to get it into the 11's all day long. The put slicks on it at the end of the night and they best thet got was a 12.00.

My car is stock on the stock runflats. It was 85* out when I ran and coolant temps were still right around 198*. I got a lot of wheel hop in first gear but the car was pretty planted throughout the shifts. I do not powershift, just speedshift. With a more controlled launch, I definitley think I will be getting this car to run a 11.4x-11.5x in stock trim on the stock runcraps. Man, this beast is fast.

Oh, and the trap, well, I was trapping at 126 at Stanton but it was also 65* out.

The photographer for GMHP was there taking pics of the car as it was doing a burnout and launching. I have a video of his reaction (disgusted) when the car put slicks on and could not get into the 11's. I should have driven that car..:icon_mrgr

No problem, just wanted to clarify what it was. It's a V16 thats based on the LSX platform of engines that was built by Katech for GM. Imagine 2 LSX engines fused together end to end and that's basically what it looks like.

I see. I wondered why it was so long for a mear two extra cylinders. I have seen pics of the V10 so I assumed thats what it was.

seen it on speed. its a v16 in that tahoe... like 1000hp and 1000tq if i remember... lol that bitch has to get like 5 gallons a mile..
